Please, I would like to hear from shooters thast have used these items, not the clown that looked at the package or read an article.

My research points me to the Lever locks from either Leupold or Talley. Talley has impressed me with their other products.

Who has used them and can give me some input?

I've used the Leupold QRW and QR, and the Weaver QR's with the levers. I didn't see that much difference between them. They were all repeatable within a MOA, sometimes much less, never more. They would allow you to carry a second scope all set up to slap on in a second or two if your primary scope was damaged on a hunt, but I still wouldn't feel totally comfortable unless I could test fire. The Weavers had a noticeably poorer finish, but mechanically seemed the equal of the others. I have two sets of Weavers set up for one rifle, two sets of Leupold QRW on another gun, and two more rifles set up with two sets apiece of Leupold QR's (the ones with the stud that fits into the hole in the base). I tend to prefer these last ones.

The only totally, absolutely repeatable QR system that I've tried is the proprietary system used by Blaser, on their rifles only. Never tried Talleys but they get good reviews.

I used a set of Leu. QR for a few years with great success. But, as time went by, the rear cam began to rotate farther and farther until one day it totally rotated! Sent it back to Leupold and they claimed it was fixed. It did it again. I only apply finger pressure so I question the system's longevity. I switched to QRW with good success with the first set. The second set I purchased to replace the QRs were defective.
I'm waiting to send both systems back to Leupold until after the Christmas mail season.
I am currently using a set of Burris Zee Signature rings on my Varmint rig. Not exactly quick-release, but I like the plastic ring insert feature.

I used two sets of the Leupold steel QRs. One set on my Parker Hale 338-06 with a 2.5-8 and they were spot on repeatable.

The other set were on my Win 70 375 holding an M8 6X. Rear cam started doing the same thing as Chucker had happen.

Got a set of Talleys for my Brno but they would not clear the bolt handle. They were by far the nicest of the bunch but they should reshape the levers IMO.

The old stand by Weavers if I'm thinking the same one as you are not pretty but they just plain work. I have yet to hear of a real failure with them. Can't really say how repeatable they are, never tried that.

I have a set of QR's and like them a lot. 2 scopes set up for the same rifle but I've never needed the second because of a failure in the first. Hunt steep hillsides mostly in snow and always falling on my butt coming down. Scope's in my pack safe and sound. Good to hear that the QWR's work well too. The lower Weaver style base would allow the use of the factory iron sights. I've had to raise mine to be able to sight over the Leupold one piece QR base.

I have a couple set of the Leupold QRW rings. They seem to work fairly well. I love being able to quickly take the scope off to put on an Eotech. Also I have a few scopes set up with Quick release that are for any rifle I don't have a permanent scope for.

I also use the Warne/Zeiss brand quick release rings. I actually prefer them slightly over the Leupold. I find they are a bit thicker in construction and I prefer the way they hold the scope. But either are good rings.

The Leupold QRW's are well made and seem easy to use with confidence. I'm going to use them on a gun (m14s) that I will alternate between iron sights and scope.

I had Talleys on my Kimber .22 Classic that, sadly, I had to sell it when funds ran low.

Just out of curiosity I did a test the one time I was at the range. Out of 5 targets I shot two of the 5 shot groups with the scope mounts left alone and the other three of the groups I removed and remounted the scope between each shot. Statistically there was no difference in group size.

I have no experience with the Leupold QRW rings but was very happy with my Talley's

Looking at the QR system, primarily so I can swap my general purpose hunting scope with a varmint model for my 6MM.

Another thought was for my sheep rig. Sometimes, those shots can be a long ways off, and a little extra magnification would be nice.

I had 4 QR's and 3 out of the 4 overrotated omn mounting within 6 months.

had no issues with a pair of QRW.s. Put O-rings on to eliminate the noise from the levers rattling. remember to touch front of groove on base when installing

picatinny is the best. then you can move from rifle to rifle no issues. ARMs lever rings are awesome!
