Devcon Price Gone Wild

^^^ Yup I questioned them about that and they did not have a good answer at all other than we will look into it..:(

They rely on buisness customers, only personal items ive bought were keyed alike american locks, list was 38.99 each thanks to my employers account 18.99 each while elsewhere cheapest was 29.99 each. Certain items are cheaper, locktite was one of them as well list was 110 i paid 54 with tax for the biggest small bottle 4 oz?

But when i go shopping with a PO i end up spending 5-1000 cause when you need it, the price doesnt matter the time it takes to get it does.

Well I did some digging an this is the cheapest I found in Canada.
https://www.motioncanada.ca/productDetail.jsp?sku=00876827 $58.37 + shipping + tax.
Two outfits in Edmonton (whom I paid $29.00 three years ago), told me they don't stock it anymore because of the wholesale price being so high,
and buyers not wanting to pay the price. So they only order as requested.
Anyway it is what it is, I guess if you would have told me 15 years ago I'd see $50.00 a pound gun powder I'd have called you crazy too.
Have to suck it up and move forward, or close the doors.

10110 is what you want.

"It is what it is" is commandment #2 of people who've not ever seen this:

"Only mediocrities will rise to the top in a system that will not tolerate wave making".

If you're ok paying 4x more at acklands, giv'er. If you can't afford it, or don't like being gouged, go to amazon.COM and search for devcon 10110.

Piss poor cost containment/controls at many corporations cause this ... and the employees dont alert management to the obvious gouging ... what do they care -- it comes out of corporate and the customer's hide. Of course this is classic short term BS that leads to inflation and job loss as we outsource jobs to places that can do it cheaper. Quality time and price ... you CAN have all three but you need heads up management and personnel. Of course multi million dollar executive salaries for guys (and gals) with no leadership capacity pulling business strategy out of their asses doesnt exactly encourage the guy on the floor to care too much!!!
