Devcon Products

I just picked up 2-1lb containers of Devcon 10110 here in Hfx. From my goto supplier for all my lobstering boat needs....I paid 34.00 plus taxes for each one.
 
JB Weld will also work just as good and you can find it at almost any store, in smaller tubes. I find that unless you use a lot of Devcon in those tubs it goes bad on you

KIWI shoe polish....neutral color. Works great with Devcon and Acraglass as a release agent.

Min wax paste wax at Homeless Depot works like a charm just did my cz 455 th varmint on the weekend pretty slick release popped rite out.You can also wax up your stock and steel also.Good product you won't get Johnsons pase wax any more as they quit selling it in Canada.

You'll have to call ahead and order it in. usually only takes a week. They carry some of the other Devcon products, but not the 10110. When you call...Ask for Tony. They're on Simmonds Ave...up past Rainbow Rigging and on the left. # 468-1202
 
For everyone in this thread Brownells will sell and ship it to Canada. Charge is $35 for a 1 pound kit of 10110 on their website. I just got a kit in with my last order about a month ago.

Numrich Arms in NY is the same way...minimum 32.00 US International Handling charge...PLUS the regular shipping on a five dollar spring !!

Just check out the the big increase in shipping on EBay as of Jan this year. I saved a site that had a few reloading manuals f/s...I messaged him in dec (23rd)...the shipping was 8.99 to my door for 24 bucks worth of books....he replied back Jan 8th...shipping was then increased to 27.00...MORE than the friggin books cost !!

Heard guys say that Acklands Grainger carries it. Google them for a dealer nearest you.

Shipping for all my orders was always about $8. The last two however they've shipped air which cost me about $25 and for some reason on those two orders CBSA decided to add their paperwork to it for duty collection. $2 in duty...$10 for the privilege of them billing me. So not sure what's up in recent months but historically they've been really good. Either way I would have had to have it shipped up here which costs about the same or more than shipping in from the states as people in Canada like to anally fornicate us on shipping more so than people in the US do.
