Dewat guns , mags need to be pinned?

On your dewat guns do your mags need to be pinned ?
I'm thinking yes, but not 100% so asking

Yes or I have seen the lips removed but that can’t really be undone

Pinned to 5 or 10 as per regular regulations but I've also seen.

No pin welded into the magazine well, floor plate welded to magazine w/ bolt welded shut.

No pin feed lips removed so they cannot contain any rounds.

Not sure what current spec is but any of these should be fine.

well of course it depends on the magazine as to if it has to be limited to 5 rounds or not. Also if you remove the spring and follower then its not a magazine anymore......

I wouldn't TLR SCC considers unpinned(over regulated cap) magazine bodies to be prohibited devices.

A dewat firearm is a dewat firearm. There are no regulations on magazines outside of being pinned for max capacity. Use whatever mag you want, just as long as it does not exceed the max capacity.

If the magazine is removable and can function it should be pinned, if it's welded to the "gun" or is otherwise mutilated to be non-functional it is no longer a magazine.
