Hey everyone. It looks like I'm finally going to get into the guts of my CZ Shadowmate to solve a problem - up till now I've avoided doing anything but cleaning but I should educate myself as it is started to cost me.
At IPSC yesterday my trigger started having intermittent failure to reset. I've had that previously and some said I wasn't allowing the trigger to travel forward enough to reset but I know how that feels and I don't think I've started shooting differently. I'll take a shot, squeeze again and the hammer won't fall. I immediately had to let the trigger off fully to make my second shot. It didn't always happen but maybe I was adjusting by slapping the trigger more. It definitely was affecting my double taps.
It did not happen on double action first shot.
Is this a sear problem?
BTW I found these animations very useful.
