Can somebody post a diagram showing the difference in regular, medium and heavy barrels for the M14 rifle please? My google-FU is not good this morning and I can't seem to find a diagram!!! :redface: Thank you,

Try milsurps.com for drawings. However, if you are using the drawings to have a barrel made..... There are some hurdles to get past with those drawings. I supplied handmade drawings to McGowan for our barrel project and still had to get them a barrel to verify stuff on the drawings.

FYI, here are some M14 barrel weights:

22 " standard USGI 30.7 ounces
22 " medium USGI 44.2 ounces
17 5/8 " standard Chinese 27.6 ounces
22 " standard Chinese 31.3 ounces
22 " standard Smith Enterprise (pn 2028) 33.3 ounces
22 " heavyweight Krieger Barrels 53.4 ounces
22 " Jon Wolfe Medium Weight Criterion 50.4 ounces
 
Thanks Different ... I have a SAI stainless barrel that says NM on it so was wondering what type of barrel it was ... regular, medium or heavy ... hence looking for pictures of barrel types ... I think I have it figured out. Thanks everyone,
