Dianna Airbug

There are few, if any, air pistols sold in Canada that have had a restricted status. They just wouldn't sell.

When the Airbug, a CO2 air pistol, was in available for sale in Canada in .177 the MV was ostensibly 499 fps. The .22 cal was supposed to be 460 fps.

When they were in stock these air pistols were not expensive, at about $250 or less.

I have the .177 version, it is shooting at 467fps, and I get 70-80 shots to a cartridge.
What I really like is that the bolt is on the left, so it makes re-cocking much easier (for us righties) the safety is very tiny, so it can be hard to operate, the wood grip is nice and chunky, and it fits my large hands perfectly, it might be a bit much for people with small hands.
It comes in a really nice case, but it is useless if you put any kind of optic on the gun, I have had the same problem with other guns that came with a case.
With a red dot sight on it, I am shooting dime size groups at 10 meters.
It's a lot of fun, the only problem is that I am burning through pellets and CO2 cylinders.

Has anyone purchased an airbug pistol and willing to share their impressions?
Well I cannot see it being any different than the Diana Chaser, or Snowpeak CP1-M.

Many times, a lot of airguns are made by the same company and just rebranded as something else ( Diana Chaser for example )

How is the trigger on yours? Single or two stage? Light or heavy? I hear mixed reviews on the trigger.

Bulleyes North has them in stock 194$ and list them at 495 fps for 177 and 460 FPS for 22.

Ive never seen an Airgun in Canada that was sold as restricted. The FRT I seen for restricted airguns were from people modifiying them back in the days of LGR. Yes there are some restricted crosman 22xx and 13xx series.

I just bought an Airbug in .22 cal. from Bullseye North. Yes it is made in China, says so right on the gun, but if it was actually made in Germany 🇩🇪 I’m sure it would cost 3 times the price if not more. Great little gun for the money. Haven’t shot it too much yet but so far quite impressed with it for the money. I lubed up the bolt and after about 50 shots was running smooth as silk. Trigger was decent out of the box and seems to be quite accurate, have not shot it over the chronograph yet to get a velocity reading. Fit and finish on the wood and metal is very good, grip fits my hand nice too. The sights are ok even with my aging eyes but will likely upgrade to a red dot sight. For the cost you can’t really go wrong with this air pistol.😎
