Looking at the Sig internals, I don't get how this occurs, it really does seem impossible yet there are over 60 suits now

Hmm, impossible to say what went on there with any certainty. No sound, camera angles are fu<Ked.

It appears he bends over at takes up the leg of the man who's under arrest. The arrested man does not resist this action.

Did the gun discharge because an armour plate made contact with the holstered gun when the officer bent over? Just prior to video, did the officer actually fire his sidearm only to have the chambered round slow burn the primer or powder, then, when the threat was no more, he holstered a gun with a chambered and cooking round?

I'm kinda surprised whomsoever was holding one camera didn't catch the round, or that the camera didn't point to where it struck? It would have been very near him.

yeah they are getting a fine handgun prone to more serious issues than the crock of #### glocks

Not picking a fight, I just don't understand the statement. I don't own one (Thanks Justin you little fU<k), but I wanted a G45 when they came out. Seemed like a goldielocks pistol and I haven't heard anything negative about them.

It can only be attributable to human error!

At 09:03:12 we see the P320 ride up in the holster (as the Officer moves down). Then, when the Officer moves back up slightly, the P320 fires.

Hypothesis: the holster's active retention device was improperly set (the retention system did not prevent the P320 from riding up during movement). By extension the retention device may have directly interfered with the trigger on downward motion, thereby engaging the trigger on the returning upward motion?

I am going to go out on a limb and say its not the gun but a holster malfunction that causes these discharges, Improper holster fitment or not fully being inserted causing the pulling of the trigger. The issue in Canada with the military having discharges was because they modified old holsters not for the P320 to be used for the P320 and I would put money that this is the cause even with P320 holsters being defective or the firearm not fully inserted in it
There is millions of rounds fired from the P320 with zero issues so these are very rare and random events

explains me in what the g45 is different than other glocks i had a g45 and i preferred the g19xs ...

I have no idea how a double action pistol can go off in a holster like that . even if a round has been chambered . unless something is seriously wrong with that holster like is has a finger incorporated into it. very interesting .

^ and an average 8 pound trigger. And three mechanical points to overcome before the firing pin can hit the primer.

Between .05 and .06 TS it looks like the holster angles out or twists if that makes sense, then the discharges.

Also looks like they are not all kitted out with the same holster, at least one drop leg in the vid I think.

Using a personal holster not fitted for the 320 or not adjusted correctly? Just speculating

how often have you ever seen a pistol firein which you could see a linear trace of the bullet leaving the gun . I cant ever remember this and i have been shooting handguns for over 55 yrs

what i meant to say is the PD is getting a real problem child in the form of a glock , don't go blaming the 320 just yet .It will only fire when the operator pulls the trigger or there is excessive wear on the components much like the glock
