Hi everybody,
I bought some sumbro 9 mm ammo and shoot them with my CZ 75 shadow sp01 in the shooting range several days ago.
One of the ammo's bullet did not go through the barrel successfully and stuck in the middle of the barrel.
I asked one of the shooting range employee to help me get the bullet out of the barrel but there were still some kind of brass left in the barrel and can not be removed no matter what we do.So the barrel is basically damaged by the ammo right now.
I tried to email the factory about this problem but did not get any reply so far.
I am wondering if anybody else got the same problem with the sumbro 9 mm ammo as me?

Ouch, glad you caught the case separation after the plugged barrel.
Could have been disasterace for sure.
Take it to a gun smith.. a real gunsmith and have him/her have ago at it.
I wouldnt be buying that name brand ammo and telling my buddies about this (as already being mentioned here in the post)
Whats a new barrel worth, might be time to look into this as a a warranty claim is unlikely.

As you discovered, Sumbro blows. I bought a bunch to try as cheap range fodder. So many light primer strikes it was ridiculous. I think the cups are made of forged steel.

Lots of out of spec brass at the rim. My buddy who reloads tossed it all in the garbage. I left my empties on the ground.

yes I had some issues with it to, like light loads very noticeable in felt recoil. Then this happened IMG_1725.JPG case failed to eject on the light load rounds and on the squib

That's a squib... That's QC issue for sure. Most likely not enough powder. You are lucky you didn't fire another round behind it. Some people would have tapped/Racked and kissed their gun good bye.

Is there still part of a brass case stuck in the chamber?

If so, try this to get it out. It works for me 100% of the time.

Take the barrel out and use a cleaning rod and a 40 cal bronze brush (not nylon). Stick the brush into the case and then pull it out. The bristles should grab the brass an pull it out.

I shot 4000 rounds of it last year with zero issues.

Mostly in an STI Trojan and a Glock 19.

I got from Tenda if I recall.

Yes I was really lucky.I was practicing speed shooting at that time and just because of the strange sound that is different from normal,I stopped shooting.
