Nugget was priority six and he still missed getting his.:( So much for my guiding service.

Did anyone out there get drawn? Just curious what your priority was to get it.
I would have thought the milder winters the last few years would have boosted the population thus making more tags available.

He knows of at least three other priority six guys who missed out too. Maybe too many are 999 until they are ready to go and it has overloaded the system.

BTW, albertarelm has the results in case you were waiting to call on the 10th.;)

I don't know that it was Jarrod, I got my draw there on my fifth. I was as excited to take him as he was to go, not sure who was more dissappointed when we got the news today. Next year I guess. That should make for a very busy year with my non-trophy Sheep and antlered Muley.

I heard they have cut the tags way back for 418 Elk as well due to over indulgent wolves. Time to go on a cull Ike!

I heard the same story about 418, not good.

A Non-resident Alien must not hunt bighorn sheep, cougar or trophy antelope while accompanied by a Hunter Host.

Looks like you're hiring Trevor .

Cana non resident hunt antelope in Alberta without an outfitter?

non-resident canadian, needs to apply in the draw with an alberta resident and needs a hunter host. (or go through an outfitter). in alberta the hunter host is the equivalent of the licence to accompany in bc, except it is way easier to get.....no need to put in a month in advance and so forth.

non-resident alien needs to go through an outfitter.

i'll be hunting speed goats this year, only took 7 years (priority 6). if i ever move back to alberta i have priority 2 for archery, and 3 for non-trophy (non-residents cannot apply for these two).

has anyone ever looked into applying in the U.S.?

I think the priority for antelope needs to be around 7-8 now to get drawn and you are right, there are so many guys 999 or up in those 7-8 priority that it is becoming a lottery among the eligible guys.

Gatehouse if you are considering an antelope hunt, the place to go is Wyoming. A hunt is something like $2-3K, which makes it about the cheapest big game hunt on the planet. There is no problem getting a tag. Just check out the outfitters and select a good one. Wyoming doesn't have the biggest pronghorns but there are plenty enough good ones, that you should get an excellent trophy.
