Did CIL make a .410 double?

Does anyone know if CIL ever made a .410 double barrel SXS shotgun?

Not sure if they made a sxs but I have seen an o/u with a singlr trigger and a barrel selector on the exposed hammer made by CIL. Very similar to Savage combination guns in appearance.

Yup, they rebranded a great many different firearms , and they sell for quite a bit less on the used market, which is a great deal for someone looking for say, a nice Anchutz 54 or a Franchi O/U!

I remember there was a double barrel .410 sold when I was young. They were quite ornate in a cheesy way, with silver/chrome hammers, but they got pulled because they had Damascus steel barrels that would tend to split. Have not seen many others for sale since

Yes. My brother has one.
90% sure it's a savage build . Nice simple internal hammers. I don't remember if it had ejectors or extractors.

I don't ever recall C.I.L. marketing a Damascus barreled shotgun and can remember when they first started selling firearms, are you sure ? Maybe mistaken for a different brand?

I don't think it was a CIL gun, it was a cheap Italian brand I think. Just pointing out that there were other branded double barrel .410s
