So a guy at work offered me this in exchange for bringing him to the range to shoot some handgun.

He said they were 150lbs each and they sure feel like they are. I can't confirm as I only melted about half of it today.
Cuting them is smaller more manageable pieces was a chore but an axe and a 5lbs hammer got it done.

But now here is my question for you guys. I think I read somewhere that pure lead looks like this when casted. Does this look like pure lead to you? If so I might have to buy myself a black powder revolver or something along those line. :p ( I know I can aloy it with WW but I feel like it would be a waste )

Aren't these pretty ? lol

that's okay, i scored 150lbs of sheet lead from an old building where i did some hvac work last week so i'm "fine" for lead. though i certainly wouldn't turn down any lead, i'm always looking for it.

have you discovered the wonderful process of powder coating yet?

I did some quick researches on it and on swagging as well but so far i'm only casting for 9mm so leading is not an issue. I tumble lube them, push true size them and i'm getting good result.

Those are- were - very old ingots. If you see any like this don't melt them down! ;)
