Did some mods to my Kel Tec sub 2000

Very nice!

Lanz Shooting Supplies is getting more in a couple of weeks.

For me it's a no brainer to get one of these in my safe. A 9mm non-restricted. I reload 9mm and have a bunch of Glock mags for it.

Theese are great little guns. The stock sights sucked but if you do what i did it works well.

No offence, dude, but that optic is hideous on there. The rest looks great.
There must be a smaller riser that will give you enough clearance, or try a different optic. That thing just offends the eye, like a shopping cart rear spoiler on a civic. You asked, I've got to be honest.

Actualy that sight works well for me.My cheek sits high on the stock so any lower of a sight and i wont be able to see it.Others might be able to get lower on it but not me.
I dont think it looks too bad:)

Well, if it works well, that's what counts. Better it work and look goofy, than look better and work goofy. Besides, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Yes a fake can would look good. Now to find one.

Try your local paintball gun store or webpage. They make bolt on aluminum ones for $50 to $100. The only issue would be if you looked straight at the muzzle as it has an opening big enough to handle the .68 caliber paintball.

Thanks for the info:)

Looks great! I just installed the same stuff on mine too!

I also was running into the issues with the stock sights getting in the way. I modded my rear sight so it would fold forward and with a small riser, my red dot is just above the front blade so it's not obstructed. I have a quick detach riser so I can install/remove it quickly (holds zero) and still use the "irons" and fold it up.

I used red locktite on all the screws (and even the barrel nut) and after 100 rounds shooting today, it's held up perfect. These are definitely the gen 2 handguards. On the KTOG so many users report the first gen one falling apart and breaking almost instantly because of how it held on to the barrel lock nut/barrel.

This new one uses a pretty heavy clamp that attaches to the barrel nut with some beefy barrel clamps too.

you know what might look cool on these guns. if you could turn down the OD of the little section of barrel past the front sight then turn some threads onto it. Then find a long flash hider (maybe from a fn fal?) and then bore that out (the flash hider) and thread it internally so you could thread it like right down to the front sight.... or maybe something like that.
