Did The Resident Hunter Protest March To Premier's Office....

Way out of touch up here. I can see us losing our open week as the Guides continue their practice of excluding resident hunters from hunting. Keep grinding your MLA's, make sure they know we are not going away.

Did the PETA chicks go topless?? lol

Nope, but one certainly should have!! ;) Certainly was cool to see the number of fairer ### that partake in the sport now!

I was lucky, the march date landed on my turnaround. Most things, birthdays etc never do....

We are not going to back off, March 26/27/28 Guide & Outfitter annual meeting at the Grand Hotel in Kelowna, we will be there!

this all made it on global news last night so it's in the public eye now.
I also heard a rumour amongst my first nations friends that certain territories in the province will be actively seeking to put an end to the guide outfitter businesses in their areas. not resident hunting, guide outfitting. guess we're in for an interesting next 5 years.

The meeting in Kamloops just before this gentle protest filled the room.
Maybe 300 or so?
Lots of important information came out of that meeting that left me bewildered.
Sounds almost like a leaning of the rich man's club funded by the resident hunters
of B.C.
I sure hope they succeed in squashing Guide Hunting in B.C. on the commercial level.

Should happen in other provinces as well. Where needed.

This was a great event. Had some great opportunities to meet many people from all over the province. Some people that I was fortunate enough to meet had travelled almost 10 hours to attend the event. My hats are off to the Oceola, Kelowna-Peachland clubs, they had many volunteers that coordinated the protest, and always made sure the groups were mindful of drivers along the highway and in the busy mall parking lots. Lots of Honking, lots of very proud hunters attended the event. Keep the pressure on you local MLA's as well as the minister responsible for the Allocation Changes: Steven Thompson. As for the PETA gals, they were dumbfounded when a gentleman asked them who killed the cow to make her beautiful designer leather boots: she was quite dumbfounded about the question and very confused.
