Did VZ 58 go up in price again?

Ruger's too and even a box of .22lr bulk ain't what it used to be...... :(

I can't think of many things that has gone down in price over the last 5 years except the recent drop in the price of oil.

Is anyone even importing 58's any more?
 
Cos the slipping C$ and oil.

Fond memory of buying cz858 for $650 with 4 mags and load of accessories. Good old days are gone my friend
 
I wanted one but damn, If the bcl Coyote 556 is a decent rifle Ill get it for less! Even still a few hundo more I can get a stag! That's crazy! I don't love the x39 cartridge that much.
 
I always liked the "beaver barf".... it's what makes a VZ58 stand out in a crowd.... :)

The price rise of Rugers over the last couple of years is not related to oil or the Cdn dollar.... just a general price increase from Ruger I suspect.
 
I have 2 that I picked up for $500 each back in 2015, back when the threat of "prohib" loomed over us, both are restrict....yeah I've seem them for between $11-$1300 over the past few years, haven't checked in the past 2 years to be honest. I kitted mine up with fab defense furniture, but I still have the Beaver barf for at least one kicking around if someones looking.
