Did you Know? We buy Handguns!

How many people/businesses are still allowed to buy and transfer handguns in Canada? I'm a bit surprised that the Liberals would care what happens to a gun range rental operation? Does any business that rents guns or sells a range shooting experience to the public qualify?
 
This is directly from my Business CFO contact;

As a business, you can transfer a handgun to an individual under strict authorizations by the CFO:

1. The individual will have to apply for ATC Protection of Life through the ACFO. IF approved, then he/she will be approved for a handgun. This does not happen very often and is a tedious process.

2. For use in connection with his/her lawful profession or occupation where again, ATC must be approved. See above. Does not include employer provided handguns.

3. For athletes training, competing and coaching handgun shooting disciplines involved with the international Olympic committee or international Paralympic committee or, national sport shooting governing bodies. Must go through the ACFO for approval with supporting documentation.

As a business, you can transfer a handgun to other businesses if these businesses including yours has these activities or privileges on your BFL. You are authorized for retail sales (NR and R), gunsmithing (NR and R - no deactivation), storage (NR and R), including consignment (not to all individuals, only listed above). This means you can sell to other businesses within Canada. You do not have importation or exportation on your BFL but you can apply for it through Glocal Affairs Canada.

It will.

Conservatives are a bump in the road for the Liberal Agenda, a temporary slow down.

If PP gets in, your PAL renewal will get processed a bit faster and he won't try to ban the Ruger No. 1.

Once the Liberals come back, and they will, because the vote is one in Toronto & Vancouver ... it will be full speed ahead.

Just have seen deactivated tt33 bidding for 550 on Switzer, not a final price yet. It was 200 pre-ban.

I like options too.
I've been interested in dewats for a long time (b/c there's no other way I can own a WW2 machine gun). And yes, the prices for deactivated guns have skyrocketed in the last year or two.

Yes, I believe this to be correct as well. I also believe that same statement to be correct on the other side of the spectrum. If Buttdart and his gang of corruption believed it was possible to take the AR’s for example they would already be out door to door collecting. The feelers are put out like the PEI gun grab they backed out if based on response. The Gov will always pivot their objectives to maintain the illusion of control over us mere peasants. There are still a lot of people who will silently disregard and reject ridiculous policies. As much as the country has become F**ked up I believe the majority of people have had enough of this woke, controlling and useless policies of this liberal gov.

Yup. We are only controlled with our permission.

The thing about Liberal governments - and I would describe many of our 'Conservative' governments here in Canada as having been Liberal governments in this respect - is that they starve their legal and military bodies of the resources they need for the control they want. To the point that those bodies no longer have the resources to do things like mass confiscations. (It's why most countries in the world are turning to mass surveillance and AI to better target what little strength they have.)

The only way they have control is if we let them. Important to remember that.
