Hello all,

I'm seeking out more information on the Diemaco C10 .22" training rifle. I see snippets of information here and there but was wondering if anyone has more information or pictures. Has anyone had the chance to lay fingerprints on one?

Thanks,

They were going to go into production and then C68 happened. All the cadet corps were suppose to receive them.

It’s too bad most Cadet Corps don’t even have access to rifle ranges anymore.

Most are limited to air rifles these days, gone are the days of .22 rifles or (dating myself here) 7.62 rifles.

when I was a cadet, 87 to 92, we shot at the Guelph armoury and the range at the high school in Fergus. Helped load the cadet FNs when they were taken away. I think we lost the range at the armoury about 1992. C10 would have been a great 22 for the cadets.

I was in the Reserves during the SARP and never laid eyes or even heard or one of these.
Interestingly enough I have a Colt conversion that is quite accurate through my Sporter 2 with 1/7. It does shave some lead due to the chamber insert though.

And yes we were extremely disappointed that it wouldn't go full auto in a C7.

Guys were telling me about cadets in the 70's. They got to hump around and shot C1. Some of the videos are on youtube.

Not just the 70s. I learned how to shoot in Army cadets in early 90s with Lee Enfields, No. 4 and No. 7 and the C1A1. Even when the local Reserve unit finally got the C7 and C9 they held a few C1A1s for the Cadet Corps.
