Diemaco C8/SA157 almost gone

When did colt Canada say they weren't making anymore???

When they first released the rifle, and then repeatedly since then. 500 of each, 10 of each retained by Colt Canada for their own corporate collection. So 490 sa15 and sa20 complete rifles released with the laser roll mark. Hence why it says "Limited Edition" on all of their website marketing.

The stripped lowers and complete lowers being sold are registered as sa15 rifles, but have no laser model name marking. Colt Canada is no longer producing rifles with the fixed front sight and have converted their production completely to IUR style rifles, of which there are multiple IUR variations depending on purchaser requests.

It would be nice if colt Canada had a better webpage or product line up so people knew what was coming or in the works.

Why?
Public sale are less than 5% of their business and was 0% 1 year ago.
most of their new product are classified until released or their picture makes it on the web.
We should just be happy that we get the crusts

Even if they just made a bone stock AR that would be awesome and i wouldnt imagine it costing a whole lot but i guess ill just have to keep shopping elsewhere

I just added one more. I'm assuming the person from the US that tried to purchase one didn't know we were in Canada.

Thanks to you & CZ85Combat for the confirmations.

Anytime! If you're interested...some EXPS-3s have also been making their way in, mainly for CANSOFCOM use...they are shorter and can be paired with the Aimpoint magnifier the CF saw fit to purchase, in a LaRue pivot mount (http://www.casr.ca/doc-npp-cansofcom-mount.htm)

These seem to be in use on C8 CQBs (http://www.thestar.com/news/canada/..._put_on_rare_display_of_fighting_talents.html), but I would bet that some with the magnifier found their way onto A3s...makes sense with the longer barrel.
