Diemaco C8 worth the price?

i would like the ambi mag release,ambi cocking handle and the tri-ad ..and for shiets and giggles the carry handle....would have been nice to get these with the C8 i bought ...or at least let me buy them so i can complete my rifle to as close as issue as possible ....
 
I'm torn. I want to buy a Colt Canada AR. I was really convinced that I would buy one in the new year. Finding out that the Korth Group is making approx. $500.00 per rifle is a deal breaker. It's not the total price, it's the distributor butt facking the dealers and ultimately the customers. I'm thinking KAC.
 
Colt is so 2010, most serious guys you see down south are running bravo company, and high end jp custom builds.

I find people have some unrealistic expectations sometimes (not you specifically CdnCbtmedic).

Of course companies need to make some kind of money when selling a product. I used to run a bar and we were making about .10cents on every beer we sold ($2.50 a beer) and people still #####ed.

I still don't understand why people are so twisted up about the price. There's some expensive Ars out there, some of which don't have the pedigree of being tested in actual combat or have dudes like Larry Vickers saying "buy these". Or praised by special operations units.
 
I'll buy Canadian from Canadian companies that don't screw Canadian consumers.
When Colt Canada/Korth/whomever-the-hell-else involved decides not to treat me like a sucker consumer willing to pay anything, then perhaps I'll consider their product.
While I can get a US Colt for half the price I'll be buying elsewhere thanks.
There's no magic voodoo with these things that commands twice the price, none other than that which you wish to concoct in your head.

Nothing retroactive for the guys that paid full pop.

Yes, Colt Canada needs to make money for manufacturing these rifles, but clearly dealers and consumers alike think that it’s a bit much for Korth to be making $500 for their services.......what do they do again that demands $500 per rifle?
