I already know the price. It was Pm'ed to me... But I'm sending an email now to get a C8...

IRG.com US colt still comes out cheaper...

Which colt from IRG are you referring that's cheaper

My guess is he's referring to their Canadian site, in which case all of their Colt ARs are cheaper. They've got the AR6721 for $1,099, the LE6920 for $1,049, the LE6940 for $1,299, and they've got an LE6920MP-R for $1,199. And that last one is listed at regular price, so if you're LE/MIL, you get $200 off that price.

I'm happy to hear that CF members are getting a discount. That's great. It seems that it should have been that way from the start.

i dont think there is any doubt in anyones mind that you're one hell of a shooter, people are just questioning the very questionable price tag...

Look for a copy of the Guns&Ammo special edition Book of the AR-15, dated 02/18/13. There is a special article on the C7, and the price is reported as $2000-$2500 due to the high quality barrel and high level of QC. I've shot the C7 in addition to basically every other AR-15 available on the market and it's definitely among the top contenders for quality. Will you get 2x what you will out of a U.S. Colt, well that's a different question.

Also, am I the only one who remembers when U.S. Colts were going for $2k because the were impossible to find? The difference here is these are definitely superior rifles and made in Canada.

Yes, Colt Canada needs to make money for manufacturing these rifles, but clearly dealers and consumers alike think that it’s a bit much for Korth to be making $500 for their services.......what do they do again that demands $500 per rifle?

I think Korth is making more like $1000 a rifle. What was Colt Canada thinking? MSRP should have been around $1300.

I recommend products based on experience and reality as I see it.

I liked Colt Canada rifles yesterday and still like them today. I thought them selling to the Canadian public was a good thing, and still think it is.
The only change is that while waiting for the initial pricing to shake out (like everyone knew it would) before buying, I won one at a national match.

Not like they gave me the rifle to get me to flap my gums. I won it by winning my class.

He shot a C7 as issued by the Army and won the top CF shooter title in the NSCC. yesterday The prize of the win is a SA20.

Some of you people need to give your head a shake. If you don't like the price of the rifle, don't buy.

Wow, so many man-babies that don't know how to be financially disciplined and save money. There's a $500 Norinco alternative for you whiners that will allow you to achieve 1 MOA accuracy with your $40 Canadian Tire Bushnell sight for shooting bird's nests in your backyards.

For the people who have been around and drooled for a civilian Colt Canada C7, this is a bargain.

Ignorant, arrogant and completely misses the point. At-a-boy DoubleA. At-a-boy.
