Diemaco Colt Canada ARs of the Great White North Eh

There is nothing wrong with the knowledge or content. The presenter simply has a poor venue which amplifies his distracting heavy breathing and lip smacking(in all of his videos). It is the exact same thing as word whiskers such as uh/um/er that sort of nonsense. It distracts from the content. That isn't whiny, its a legitimate criticisms. I want to watch the video for the content, but it the equivalent of watching people shovel food in their mouths. And thanks for making me have to clarify that. Please explain how his "type of medical device" is relevant to terrible video production.

You’re the one who opened your mouth and put your foot in it, I was just making sure you realized it. If you’re so horribly picky that you can’t see beyond the audio imperfections, then perhaps just have your internet shut off because the world isn’t perfect Sparky. You wouldn’t want witnessing any more imperfection to set you off.

The video with his ‘chest rig’ : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdgUuYbbxo0

The guy is an industry expert and published author on the subject matter, this versus a random critic with internet access.

Until fairly recently we couldn’t even buy Colt Canada guns as civilians. I know because I called them and asked. A few years after they did the SA runs which had its share of bumps.

Really like my CC rifles/carbines. While Colt USA rifles aren’t as nice, I would give LMT a nod for being in the same league. I actually prefer my LMT rifles in some ways but not others over my CC stuff.

These videos are actually some of the best on the net. Designed for the true enthusiast. He worked for Colt USA for a while by the way. I could care less about the production value/entertainment factor. Most of the internet “ content “ is fluff. These videos are actual information. It’s a nice change.

The first firearm I ever built (acquired and assembled piece by piece) was my CC. To date, she is arguably, my favorite firearm. Just gorgeous, fits together so snug, milspec trigger breaks cleaner than some expensive aftermarket triggers on other rifles.. I could go on all day. Nevermind the fact that I live 40min from the factory and feel like she and I are cut from the same cloth lol. A real shame that she's now a paperweight, like having a Lamborghini with no keys.

Can't listen to this guy. The weird noises he makes as he tries to breathe ruins anything he says. Same premise as anyone with a man bun, just not possible to listen to. If only he used a proper microphone to film in rooms.

You should ask for a refund.

I think he means in the thumbnail of the video, yes. I would say a KAC canadian spec rail, but it certainly looks different from the current production ones. Seen the same rails on a lot of CSOR and JTF rifles

Yes, sorry, the one in the thumbnail. I’ve never seen that type of cut in a KAC picatinny rail. Other than that, it definitely looks like one.

A really good and obviously highly researched and accurate video. In particular it proved three of my personal belief/convictions about Diemaco and Colt:

1): That Diemaco was set up to be a completely independent manufacturer of the DND's firearms. I posted that thought on CGN one time and someone replied at length showing how "wrong" I was.

2): That Diemaco/Colt Canada did produce the world's finest AR rifles, particularly the barrels. (Hopefully they will again too.)

3): That Colt Defense is capable of ruining absolutely everything they touch, and is somehow eager to as well.

It is a surefire rail m73?

The one in the picture might be. The UK/Canadian/SAS RAS was designed at the request of Diemaco. It's to mount the AG36 on the RAS and have a stable platform. They also went with a solid FSB on the L119 because the FSB would eventually crack after a a high round count of HE. Hence why the new SAS uppers have the recoil lug on them. If you try mounting a AG36 on the new uppers they fit like gloves.

Colt canada/ diemaco hands down makes some of the best ar15 rifles in the world. A few years back, a buddy of mine took a training course with Larry Vickers and took a diemaco 10" CQB. Vickers was all over that thing like flys on a deuce. If a man like Vickers gets a stiffy for the CC stuff, there must be a reason. Lol

I remember visiting Diemaco many years ago. My friend new one of the engineers. He gave us a tour of the factory. What I remember the most was the "THE ROOM" . They pretty much had 1 of every kind of military rifle you could imagine for reference. Buddy told me to help myself and check out whatever I wanted as long as I cleared it first.

We also talked about grenade launchers. That was the only thing they could sell to me at the time because it was their own design. Unfortunately $3500 20 years ago was a little rich for me.

The reason Diemaco's GL looked the way it did was because Reed Knight or someone like that saw their original at a show and had a fit, he threatened to sue their pants off for patent infringements. Thus it looks the way it does now.
