I’ve been looking for either one of the single side slotted Diemaco endplates or the Ambi, or both for that matter, and haven’t had any luck stateside. Are there by chance any vendors that have these available right now or are there any good clones aside from airsoft parts?

I think it's unlikely you'll find one at a dealer. It seems that after the OIC, AR15 parts are becoming less available. The only place I've seen them is here, and it seems they are take-off parts.

That’s what I was afraid of. I’ve been looking for a couple months now, and just happened to miss one that was posted a few days ago on ar15dotcom. I have a couple of the triangle style now, but can’t find either of the slotted plates.
Got in touch with a guy on another forum who just scored one of the one sided slotted end plates on the marketplace in that forum and he’s going to let me borrow it to spec out so that I can make a copy

Love rummaging through my local gun stores’ parts bins. I recently found a genuine Colt two position buffer tube and an original Colt spanner style extension nut (we moved to castle nuts in the states as you’re probably aware a long time ago). Got it all for $25. Always some neat parts though.
My side slotted one came out of the scrap bin from my weapons tech bud after a round of upgrades where they were replacing them with an updated end plate. The slide slotted ones work fine with a strap but they were all beat up from being used with the metal sling clips.
