Diemaco SA Rifle Pics - post 'em here

If you stripped the 11.6" barrels and swapped them onto the SAS IUR, I bet they'd sell like hotcakes. Then you'd have a batch of 10" MRRs, which I'm sure would sell, and 11.6" CANSOFCOM Clone IURs, which I KNOW will sell.

God dammit, must be so awesome to work at Nordic Marksman. Get to play with all that cool stuff, mix and match at will.

LOL,

One step ahead of you... Just waiting on one little part to arrive :)

Lol, all kidding aside, are you guys really doing this for sale, or is this just a personal project?

I'm guessing the one little part you're waiting for is the object on the left?

That 203 is not fitted correctly on that barrel. Matter of fact, it is not designed for that barrel. It can and will just slide off as the 2 half circle "clamps" that hold the front end to the barrel are not secure enough to maintain the 203 in position. You need either the Colt M4 barrel with cut outs, or the full length 20" barrel to utilize that front clamp.
Or I guess modify that barrel (and that would be a shame) to provide a better slot for security.
Also my own preference is for the barrel to be 9". But then, it ain't my barrel, so my opinion is worth the amount of money I'm paid for my opinion here.

The 203 would look better on the full length rifle....... You retain the same top handguard and modify/cut the bottom to fit around the launcher. Basically that's how the CF does it.

We just have an extra 10 pounds on the mount to drop it down ;)

Yes, the lowered mount is to prevent "cook off". At least that's the official reason.

As there are no Diemaco M203A1 in civilian hands, we just have to make due with what we got.

The CF just "contoured" the bottom handguard to fit that goofy 203 extension.

Thanks Koldt, and I agree, it was no go mounted on that other than for a picture :p

I'm building a full length upper for it now off a Diemaco A1 upper and should have it done soon.

And a 9" barrel is in the works for #2, or a 7" LMT fatty if I can get my hands on it.

Don't get me wrong, it looks goooood. You won't lose any velocity with the 9" barrel. Accuracy is the same, MOG, minute of grenade. I can usually hit a B27 target pretty consistently at 100M with a M781 round or the plastic rounds. If the barrel needs to be shortened because of some type of damage to the crown or front area of the 12" barrel, they are fairly easy to trim/shorten to 9".

Here's the Triad II for the C7CT and C8CT. I was going to build a clone, but I think my clone building days are over.

This one would be a good build:

SA15.7 barrel
SAS IUR upper
Smith Flash hider/ threaded
Lower has Magpul ASAP.

I assume this guy is CSOR or JTF2.

11.6 Diemaco upper with FSB, looks like older gen (Dutch) IUR, with Battlecomps.
Granted this CanSOF unit may have only used the comps for the Special Forces competion these pics were taken at:
