Diemaco SA Rifle Pics - post 'em here

Now that is true bromance right there.

I thought I was going to be an international sniper when my unit asked me to try at the Blaire shoot earlier this year and it was a real eye opener when placed 48th instead of 1st like I’d imagined.

In all honesty, despite my poor performance, I still had a lot of fun, and I’d love to try again next year, but I doubt they’d ask me again, lol!

Here is my SA20 as it will probably remain for the near future.

And where the OS4 will probably live for a while.

Feeling Green

I managed to source a green forend (don't ask my source does not want to be inundated with requests)

I decided to add some OD Green Magpul on the grip and butt. I'm not a personal fan of an A2 grip so I continue with the MIAD that is on all my ARs.

It's not fantastic color match but hey, green. I know the CF butt and grip is actually better quality material and fully able to be decontaminated but I don't really plan on shooting in nuclear/biohazard areas at either of the poles so the CTR will likely stand up to the abuse I dish out (as long as I don't mortar the rifle with the stock extended - CTRs don't like that much).

The white on the optic is my short range sight adjustments (long range the BDC dial matches up fine out to about 600 yds). The little band of red & white on the forend is a little reminder from my daughter that whenever I am away for a match she would much prefer me to be home. :)

You'd be surprised how many of our stocks split open in two, crack where the lever is or have the sling loops snap off. They aren't great quality.

You had both better get on the horn to the RCMP ERT units and tell them that they are doing in wrong.

While they're at it, they might want to mention the one thing that is truly weird about police ERT's - why do they all tie their drop holsters to their knees? It's supposed to be low enough to clear the gear, not low enough to look like a garter belt.
