Diemaco SA Rifle Pics - post 'em here

Hey guys, does anyone else here have one of those stripped lowers? I just got mine yesterday and it's really, REALLY gray. Haha, when I mated it to my IUR, the colors were so drastically different, almost like the rifles at our unit, lol!

1 cc gray lower
1 ziplock bag
1 can of clp

insert lower in ziplock bag
spray clp
mix, repeat, let is it overnight soaking in the ziplock bag in the safe
voila

Did all that CLP fall off the back of an MSVS? Hahahahaha! I should have just borrowed some from the arty guys as they dump that stuff down the guns by the gallon. Instead, I cheaped out and used a zip lock back and some G96 (just because it smells nice). Unfortunately, it didn't darken up the lower quite enough:

Looks okay here, but when mated up to my IUR, you can see the difference:

Color variations between uppers and lowers aren't exactly strange on the work rifle:

Also, my OCD got the best of me when someone offered me a green cover and ambi mag release (when I've never, ever used the ambi mag release on my C7, lol!):

By the way, does anyone know the torque specs between the mount and the optic? I did a quick search and couldn't find anything. My google-fu is weak.
 
Where are guys finding their diemaco buis? Only once in 9 years did I ever see one of those on a C7/C8, and only then because a buddy was helping the CQ organize stores and found it in the bottom of a drawer...

Needless to say, my eventual C7A2 build will feel complete without one
 
They are not available to the civilian market. ( Thats what I heard anyways )

Found mine on EE before Diemaco was cool....
