Diemaco SA Rifle Pics - post 'em here

Why pay money to have a forum if you aren't using it. They closed it down and didn't renew. Hence expired.

International sales are still booming. IE military. More money than what we (civilians) spend on them.

I meant specifically canadian civilian sales. Which have been quite lackluster. Us pissing and moaning about the price? If the guns sell then obviously there is people willing to pay for it. Unfortunately they aren't selling that well, the limited sub 1000 production models are still for sale at retailers. IUR tops are still for sale, and the lowers are moving very slowly. So it's possible they decided it's not worth wasting time on.

I am well aware colt canada on the whole is doing quite well and are quite busy with contract work. I'm assuming after rcmp contract they are going to start producing iur for the cf. They have no shortage of work, contracts, or cash flow in the big leagues.

C.C didn't advertise these guns very well. most people I talk to had no clue you could get these.

3 guys from work bought some after shooting mine. Mind you my unit has 12 people... lol... 4 of witch are antis.

Why people think that CC needs us is still a mystery to me. We really are an egotistical group. We go on about CC as if they weren't doing good enough business on their own before they were allowed to sell to us after Colt was restructured as a whole.

Give it a rest people. Civilian sales are not THAT important to CC. Whether they sell to us or not has no bearing on their future survivability.

RCMP contract. Federal Corrections Contract. 100+ municipal police contracts. Private security contracts (think nuclear power plants). International and National Armed Forces contracts for multiple types of firearms. Tens of thousands of guns. If not 100s of thousands of guns.

And a few thousand for the Canadian public.

We are a 1% mark on their overall business. If that. And everything they sell, with the exception of the sa series, is surplus. And that surplus was already paid for by factoring it in to some government contract as an overage. A quality control insurance plan that they sold off to us after it was bought by someone else.

CC closed their account because some people here went full silly and wouldn't stop. It wasn't worth their time, or money, to continue being a public point man for their product. They let their distributor and retailers do it now for them. Some do it here, some on other media.

And I can't say I blame them.

I just hope this isn't a sign of things to come, them pulling out of the civvie market altogether. I was really hoping for that IUR DMR. Going to cry if they don't release that.

Bingo, this right here hits the nail in the head. Also to slightly correct you counting the sa20 and sa15.7 it's less than 1000 guns, its more i guess with iur and the lowers.

It isn't. They shut down their forum months ago. The forum existed until the rent ran out, then the account expired. This happened months ago, and is just slowly changing status on this forum only.

Its a CGN Admin thing, and has nothing actually to do with CC.

That's a relief.

If CC doesn't release the IUR DMR, I'll do something similar to this:

Here is mine.

Everything is Colt Canada except for the 14.5" barrel which is FNH. Haven't found that holy grail yet.

Couldn't fit any Diemaco/Devtek rifles in the pics. After all this forum is for Colt Canada. :)
