On firing some handloads, with 124gn cast lead bullets, lubed with Lee Liquid ALOX, my first impression was:
"Holy Sh*t, I thought I'd used smokeless powder."
The rounds gave off what I'd consider an unreasonable amount of smoke. If I were using these for IPSC/IDPA, it would really mess with your sight picture. Aside from using a different lube (which I will likely do), are there any ways I can cut down on the smoke from ALOX'ed bullets?
