what the main difference between the ''140 [bolt action]-150''[ semi automatic] ''vs the ''340[ bolt action ]-350'' [semi automatic]series .22 mossbergs?triggers-barrels-stocks?are they all about equally quality-reliable -accurate?or is one more favourable than another-and if so-why?[I've got a couple-and like them-one in the 140 series and the other in the 340 but can't see any real diference ]

There tends not to be any real differences. The bolts may not interchange etc, but apperance looks the same. The model numbers tell the manufacturing dates. The 100 series is the oldest. Model numbers also tell the confirmation...Short or long woods , semi or bolt etc. The accuracy is quite the same...GREAT....I liked the older rifles so that is what I gathered.

I have a model 51 (1930s semi) a couple Model 151s ( 1947 and 1948 semis) and expecting soon a 144lsb heavy barrel target ( 1970s bolt)... The Semis are fun in the fields and quite at home when shooting range paper. As usual, they need cleaning as the residue from reloading does affect the action. Mine I clean about every 400-500 shots.
