Diff in barrel lenghts

Curious here. Interesting shotgun. What do you use it for?

Lol, its just an 870 Tactical Magnum. I swapped the barrel with my Norinco HP9 (my budget skeet gun). Its a 26" Remington Skeet barrel with screw in choke. I payed something like 130 bucks for the barrel and it came with a free Norinco attached, as I like to say.

However I have used that setup at home, and I actually do quite well with it. Being a beginner at skeet (prolly only shot at about 200-300 targets now) I hit about %70 with that setup.

I also shoot more instinctively then proper shooting discipline, being self taught. My head often sits more the left of the receiver. However, I have never missed a live bird to date though.

I also like using my HP9 with regular stock and the 18.5" barrel for skeet to, very quick to whip to both clays.

That is a classic beauty. Does it shoot as good as it looks?

I have a Winchester 42 that is huge fun at skeet.

I looks better in that picture than in real life, but I love how it shoots. I'd love to try a 42 one day!

How many birds approximately would you say?

I hunted with a fellow a couple of times who used a shotgun similar to your. He let me try it a few times, I liked that the gun hardly kicked but except on straight aways or straight towards shots where I had time to adjust my self I found I was staring at the receiver of the shotgun and not the bird.
