Hey all,

I have box of lapua scenar .264 139gr, thinking of using them in my 6.5x55, I can easily find data for viht powders but not much on Hodgdon or imr powders. Would it be safe to use minimum load data for 140gr bullets and work up my charge from there? I don't really see the difference one grain would make, but I thought I'd ask some of the vets first, before I just assume. What's your thoughts?

Kevin

I couldn't see there being much issue, it's still a cup and core bullet, if it were a mono metal, I'd be a lot more hesitant. Thanks guys

You can always use heavier bullet weight data like you are asking or if you have 165gr bullet and only data for 168 you can proceed. If bullet composition is the same load and go.
