Difference between magwedge type 1/type 2

I'm buying some lar-15 mags and was undecided on which magwedge couplers to buy with them. Is the only difference between the 2 is that type 2 gives it a more straight look?

Also, do the type 1s with the angle fit in vest pouches or do I need the type 2 for that?

Question 1, yes, the 2 makes the coupled mags straight.

Question 2, yes, the 1 will make your coupled mags the same shape as standard 30 rnd and they will fit any pouch that fits standard 30 rnd'rs.
