I want to say THANK YOU BIG TIME to the gentleman we all know as "Different" on this board and M14forum, etc as he took me out in Las Vegas into the desert and we shot his fullauto M14. We shot the XS 50 round magazine with no gliches and blasted some rocks out to approx 100 - 200 yards on a hill. We blasted bottles of water and empty cans with his Springfield Semi-auto which was quite accurate I must say! We tested his thermold magazine in the semi auto and it failed on me 3 or 4 times. We tested a USGI 20 round magazine which didn't fail in his semi auto. We tested the XS 50 rounder in fullauto and it never failed me. I learnt how to use the front grip on the E2 wood stock to help control the fire ... wow I wouldn't want to be downrange is all I gotta say once you figured out how to hold it on target! I rather enjoyed his company as he has a ton of knowledge on the M14 platform and was pleasant to hang with. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN "Different" for allowing me a chance to shoot a fullauto M14 ... you rock! Cheers,
