Diffrence between a Alpharms 15SA & a MKA 1919?

Hello every one,

So I have been looking into getting a semi auto mag fed type shot gun and have come across two options - Alpharms 15SA & the MKA 1919.
I know very little about either. Only discernible difference to me so far is whom is importing and the forearm and stock options.
Alpharms is being brought in by Wolverine Supplies & MKA is being brought in by Tactical Imports.
Alpharms appears to not have the collapsible stock and forearm rail system of the MKA. Going by the pictures on gunnutz posted by the two respective businesses.
Anybody know which would be a better choice and why?

I went with the mka1919 match being brought in by tactical imports.
My only reasons being the flat top full rail and the stock and forearm.
And the interchangeable choke option. Also being sold as 2 3/4 and 3" some are only 2 3/4 Plus the mka / akdal has been around longer than the others so I'm hoping they had a chance to work out their bugs and they have lots of reviews and an abundance of after market accesories. ...the Derya mk10 is another option for you as is the br99.
So many of these turkish mag fed guns it's actually getting hard to keep track of and is confusing. Go with the one that has the options your looking for.

Don't overlook the alpharms though. .. wolverine did the leg work to get these re classified.. plus they will be handling the warranty which you know they take care of their customers.

INTRODUCTORY SPECIAL ALPHARMS 15 SA SHOYGUN $555.00 plus shipping and tax.

Our first order should be leaving Turkey in 30 days. We will be accepting orders tomorrow, 11th Feb with $100 non refundable deposit. These new production shoguns will not be exactly as shown in the photo on my opening post. They now feature a folding retractable butt stock and the hand guard has a railed top.

Do not confuse these guns with the Match model offered by Tactical Imports, their model has aluminum hand guards and includes other upgrades.

My understanding is that the AKAL 1919 was the original design and all other offerings have following her.

Each Alpharms 15 SA comes with the following:

Barrel will be 499 or 510 mm

!2 Gauge x 76 mm (3 inch) chamber

Three chokes, one is an extended flash hider type and choke wrench.

Detachable carry handle rear sight assembly.

Lowers are polymer, uppers are aluminium.

Two 5 rd mags (Extra mags will be available $45 each)

Alpharms provide a 12 month warranty, we will extend that to 24 months from the date of purchase to the original owner.

We will carry out any warranty work in house and spare parts are already ordered.
 
It's a shame the Alpharms isn't coming with the solid stock, as shown in the picture. Retractable stock isn't the look I'm going for on the skeet field.:rolleyes:
 
Well price point seems to go to the Wolverine Supplies Alpharms 15 SA. Both stocks retractable so that's a mute point now. My only concern is a railed fore end to accept a whit light of some sort.

Can you please answer this question:

Is there any rail to attach a white light to the fore arm?....the pictures on Alpharms web site shows that there is such a rail on the bottom of the fore end. Can you please confirm if this will be the same fore end?

Yes, I am told that is what we are getting. This is different to my two samples but they are 2 1/2 years old.

Mka1919 match pro




Match pro is almost double the price atm, but has a few nicer features... no front sight gas block as well the internals are supposed to be upgraded from previous models, and all the reviews out there show it to be very reliable. Apparently factory tested at 6000 rds without a jam. I don't know if the alpharms have the same internals or not

is that a real picture of the gun original picture with the folding stock? and were do you go to put deposit on this or is it to late 500 buck good deal and you can change chokes on this as well.

Not 500.. but wolverine supply has/had them on for $555. And yes , actual pics and they both have interchangeable chokes
