Digging the new FDE 870

My Marine Magnum, which apparently is a gussied up Express, has been perfect. Smooth and trouble free. No work needed.
Kurgs, the nickel finish is a big improvement over the previous express line's finish, and you likely lucked out with a smooth chamber and ease of extraction. Not every Express has the issue, which only adds to the concern for buyers. (Hit and miss QC on Remington's part.)

I just picked up an Express tactical. I will have it out shooting later in the week. I can post about its performance.

My Tactical Desert Recon has been flawless... We were shooting skeets on the weekend, ran all the cheap target loads through it like no tomorrow. Also ate all the 3" buckshot and slugs I threw at it. Love the gun, don't no what people are crying about. Glad I sold my SXP defender for it.

I'm with bollox. Doesn't do a thing for me….but if you like it that's all that matters!
Well, calling the 870 a pig and the Magpul and cerakote just purely lipstick is rather ridiculous in my opinion. Very much an exaggeration.
I would say the Express is a gamble currently, but this FDE model is much nicer than the safe, typical, dime a dozen black tactical 12g. The option to use a choke on a tactical shotgun is also a plus. Especially a Rem Choke.

I couldn't care less how much $$ her daddy makes...I still wouldn't take her to the prom looking like that. All in the eyes of the beholder....and just my opinion.

I guess it depends largely if you like and appreciate Dark Earth guns. I love em.
The FDE is only $10 more than the black Magpul cerakote. Still pricey though compared to the regular Express without the Magpul and cerakote.
