Was about to buy this caliper last week for $34.99. Bought it today at Canadian Tire for $16.99. Anyone use this one for reloading?

Nope...they were on sale today. The new flyer just came out so you have several days to return the one you bought and buy this one if you like. I like the fact that it takes LR44 batteries, you can buy 5 LR44 batteries at the dollar store for 1 dollar. :)

They work ok, I have one as well. I find I have to zero it a lot. I have different unit I bought around 10 years ago it was almost $200 then. Its seems to be a way better unit. But honestly for the price those a damn good deal. I also checked the mastercraft unit with gauge blocks and its with in .0005" so we can't complain.

I notice that many reloaders have more than one of the same caliper? I am fairly new at this. What is the reason you would want more than one? Just in case one breaks?

1 has my Comparator on it
1 I use as is
1 is still new in the case should 1 of the other 2 fall onto the concrete floor and break/bend/shatter/etc...

As of right now, one is on my computer desk and the other is in the garage on my loading bench. If I should forget to bring this one down to the loading bench....no big deal...I have one there :D

Nice I was waiting for those to go on sale.

Just looked and on their site it is half priced. Now I just need till those axes go on half price and pick up a Fiskar hatchet.

It works for measuring the OAL on the rounds I make. I had a 200.00 one and someone stole it. This time I,m out less than 20.00.

It's okay for the price but to get an accurate reading, it's pretty hard. Usually you have to keep rolling the wheel to get those extra few thousandths of an inch measurement.
