Considering ordering one of these scales. (FX120i) Anyone with experience having/using one? They go for $700+ including tax/shipping. I currently use a Gempro 250 and it's pretty good but you do have to fiddle a bit with the pan and resetting the "TARE" frequently. Opinions appreciated, thanks. BB

Been using the FX120i for a number of years. Works well, still needs some TLC to ensure tare is correct but once set up, stable and repeatable.

Added the auto trickler and life is very good.

It is an investment but for the amount of precision loading I do, this speeds things up AND is accurate.

I’ve had an FX120i with the autotrickler and it’s a big step up from my balance beam scale and then Chargemaster. Quick and ultra consistent. Seems to me to be the pinnacle of reloading scales. Maybe even an upgrade on a Promethious?, For a third the price.
I wouldn’t load match precision ammo without one now.
Compared to my old Chargemaster, loading with the new FX, cut my SDs and ESs by a considerable amount across all calibers.

Used mine for about 1000 rounds before adding auto throw to the auto trickler, now even quicker.
More accurate and quicker than my ex RCBS chargemaster combo.
If i turn on fluorescent lighting and have my cell phone close, it will flicker between 2 values at 0.02gr difference.
It's always plugged in a computer battery backup power bar, just in case a thunderstorm would take her away from me! Also allows to filter static in current.

Any of you using a granite slab under them? It seems popular over on an american forum

I am using an Accu Lab Vic 123 scale and have a 12"X18"X3" granite surface plate under it. You can buy these at Busy Bee for a little over $50.

Fantastic scale I have had mine for several years and its flawless. But with any electronic scale keep items of interference away from it. Like cell phones cordless phones. It will also require a warm up time for the best accuracy. I just leave mine on and never turn it off. Its also runs off a 12v battery with a trickle charger on it so when the power goes out I can still load.

I believe the FX-120i 30% rebate is valid to Canadians as well, if anyone is on the fence about buying one. I got confirmation from Cambridge Environmental that it is but not A&D
