Dilemma .40Cal pistol

All my pistols are currently chambered in 9mm and 45 ACP. So I’m looking in to getting in to the 40 cal game with an inexpensive pistol. I have been currently looking at the M&P40 and the Glock 22.

If your pick a Glock 22, what model and why? (Gen4, RTF-2, Classic FG&R)
Should I just wait and get another Sig?
Is there a better alternative?

G22 is good, I prefer the 3rd Gen and you can usually find them pretty cheap if you look around. M&P has good ergonomics. Could also consider springfield XD (provided you can find one for a decent price) or CZ .40

i'm in the same boat.i'm looking for a 40 for match mainly, i was looking at cheap pistol kind of, but i've realized that i've too much of those, and that it would be way better NOT getting a service pistol for competition purpose lolol. i come to the conclusion an X5 or a pimped 1911 would be the ticket for this....
 
Jericho 941 in .40 S&W

Gunnar (ARMCO) is selling a Jericho 941 that shoots superbly. Very accurate, only 300 rounds shot through it and one of the tightes fits for a pistol. It is a full frmae all steel. I traded that gun as I am crazy about .45 acp, especially 1911's... I miss that gun, and wish had it still. Anyway, my 2 cents worth.
One more thing, it is a heavy pistol, and that absorves most of the recoil produced by the snappy .40.

funny enough, i've sent an e-mail to armco last night, will see what he have in stock..
 
I looked at both guns recently and decided to go with the Glock. I like the look at the M&P and it has some nice features such as an improved grip but it's a very new gun and as such some of the bugs are still being ironed out.

The Glock has been proven in the field for many years. I bought a Gen 3 Glock on sale at Blueline for $599.

Value for money you can't beat the Glock imho.

I'm selling my CZ75 9mm because I want a 40 cal.,, if it was 40 I would never get rid of it. I don't know alot about handguns but I find the CZ to be a very nice, comfortable gun

Don't be in a hurry to sell your 9mm CZ, if you cannot afford 2 guns, you prolly won't shoot the .40 as much as 9mm then.
 
Not exactly cheap but the CZ Tactical Sport is supposed to be a great gun for Standard in IPSC. Never held one but I would concider it for a competion gun.
