Dilemma what to do, what to do

So an Update, i will not be getting her a stainless steel 1911 that's for-sure, she was pointing at some last night so i took her down stairs to get an idea of the weight (i have a kimber eclipse target II), way to heavy she says (kinda expected as much) so going to get her to look at some compact 1911s, maybe a colt or sig 22lr 1911 and some polymer designs like the M&P 9 now that she has the stainless steel out of her head. See what she likes and get it for her.

So we got down to her final choices last night and this morning she told me that she wants a Ruger SR9, she likes the fact that its two toned, lighter weight, 9mm (she didn't want the pussy 22lr as she put it) and she wants to put a laser on the front rails ( then she tells me to try and find her a purple laser.... lol anyone know if they make them lol). So i'll be doing some shopping around for the best price on one since thats what she wants.

Since I know you are an NEA hater, why not get one of the affordably priced LMT's, a few upgrades, and the pistol your wife wants? She likely deserves it.

The KAC/Noveske/etc. stuff is very nice, but for the shooting you do, will the differences matter?

I'm willing to bet no.

btw this is the wife

Yeah i'm narrowing down my choices, i have a long list lol.
Stag, LMT are good affordable prices, and good quality for those prices, now that we got her's out of the way i can do some budgeting to see what i will end up with.
