Hey, when switching calibers with the quick change kit, do you change shellplates between 9 and 40?
Seems like my 40 will load with the 9 shellplate. This is not to skimp on the 40 conversion kit package, since it does come with the 40 flare tool for the powder measure.
It's just if theres no harm to it long term as this seems to work, I could quickly change with one less step.

From what I've Googled, the shell plate is the same for 40 and 9mm, but I don't own one so I can't say for sure.

Thanks, I keep forgetting the power of google
For future reference, a 10 second search on google brought me to this charts, which tells you shellplate compatibility.

Yep, in the link I have posted there is a chart on what part numbers calibers refer too. So you can see exactly what are the easiest interchangeable calibers.
Seems like 9 to 40 is about one of the easiest switches, change top tool plate with dyes attached , index brass buttons and its ready to go.
