Hello
my good friend uses and has recommended a Dillon 550B for reloading. I am in the USA (North Dakota for a few days from Winnipeg) and wanted to buy that unit but they are sold out all over N Dakota.
They do have a Dillon 650 though. My friend is away hunting so I can't ask him if I should buy this 650 Dillon. The important thing is that my friend is an expert at reloading and will guide me through the process as I am a novice. As I said he has used a 550 for many years and he will guide me through the loading process with his previous measurements.
Should I get the 650 as the price for that upgraded unit will be about the same as a 550 shipped to me in Winnipeg? Would this unit have the same powder load specs etc as the 550 so I could transfer my friends advice to this machine or should I just have a 550 shipped to me? I am a novice loader.
Thanks for any advice. I will be in N Dakota until Monday Oct 10, 2011
