Just working on setting up my new 650 and have a question before i go any further.

I didn't buy the station 3 powder check/die, and was wondering should i leave it empty and continue on to station 4 seating and 5 crimping or move those two back one and leave staion 5 empty? It makes more sense in my mind to move them one step back and leave 5 empty, one less click with a case full of powder for no reason.

Thanks.

leave it empty, so if you add a bullet feeder or a powder check, they will be placed right and placing the bullet in station 3 is not that easy compare to #4

Thanks Snowboy. I was just standing here looking at where and why station 4 is where it is. I agree putting a bullet on the case at number 3 looks like a pita. I may also have Lee hangover as i'm used to the hard indexing and powder all over the place. :)

John, as Snowboy said leave it open so when you buy a bullet feeder you have a place to put it without having to reset your bullet seater and crimp die. You can buy the bearings anywhere that sells bearing. i got mine at a farm supply store in Brooks. send me an email and i will find the numbers for you.

Thanks for the reply's everyone. Must say that this press is impressive compared to my Lee pro 1000's i have. I should have started drinking the blue koolaid a lot sooner!
As for indexing, i was refering to my Lee's, the Dillon stock is waaaay smoother at indexing.
Will be loading ammo through it tonight:D

I left that station open as well and put a small LED flashlight there so I can visually check each case before I put a bullet in it. I guess I am a little paranoid after loading with Loadmaster for TOO LONG :)
