I know it's been asked but I couldn't find the thread.
I have a Dillon 650, 357,45lc And 9mm conversion Kits, all in my cart.
I already have those cal dies.(RBCS).
So will I need anything else? Or will this get me started?
I'm getting all the equipment from Dillon.com

Thanks for any help.

Case feeder? Highly recommended.

Have you looked at Select Shooting Supplies? Ontario store with comprehensive Dillon stock. There are a few others also.

I looked at a few CA sites, but I can get the 650 and 3 conversion kits, from Dillon, for the same price as the 650 only, from Ca

Not sure if the "conversion kit" includes the head and stand - it used to be just the pieces needed to convert the press itself. If not extra heads and stands are highly recommended to make caliber changes easier and to hold everything when not in use.

+1 on the case feeder, also the strong mount, bullet tray and roller handle.

I haven't tried the primer tube filler, loading the primer tubes is the current bottleneck for me loading on the 650.

Can't remember if the low primer alarm comes with it, but if not get that. Unless you have very good lighting, get some led lights to mount directly over station #3.

Extra primer tubes are always good. I went with the Vibra Prime. Very quick and easy to load primer tubes with that.

Agree on Vibra Prime. Also spare primer tubes. Spares kit is very handy. Springs go and you might need to wait a week or two for replacements to arrive.

I also bought mine from Dillon 4 years ago. Back then dollar was at par but what will really get you is shipping. It will be ~$200. Plus you will need to pay brokerage fees, they only ship by courier. I shipped mine to a forwarder at Niagara Falls and shipping was $25. Pay your HST when you cross back into Canada and you're good. With the exchange rate now I don't know if it's worth it.

I never got the strong mount and dont regret it. My bench i built is 1"1/4 thick, screwed to the wall and lag bolted to the floor. I agree get more primer tubes, i had my original one crap out at about 1500 primers.

As far as costs goes, i was going to buy mine from Dillon but in the end they wanted 400$ US to ship to Edmonton Area. I ended up buying mine from P & D.

I just called Dillon, shipping is $200 U.S... Ouch :)
For $1320 CAD,
Dillon 650 ,
9mm
.357
.45acp
.45LC
2 extra priming tubes

Select has most what I need , but it's $1400 + shipping.
Tend a has 650, but not all the cals,I'm looking for. And free shipping ,maybe.

Make sure you check is duty and brokerage fees are even included in that 200 dollars shipping.

Well after 3 hrs of mind boggling, googling, I got the press from Tenda.
They didn't have every thing I needed though,so the search continues :)
Do the 550 conversion kits,fit the 650?

Thanks for the help
