So,,,

Here goes, I have a Dillon Square Deal Press. It came to me second hand about 4 years ago. Came with all parts, 9mm and 45 ACP dies. So i cleaned it up and got it going and since I have reloaded approximately 10 000 plus rounds in various calibers mostly 44 mag and 45 ACP.

3 days ago it broke when i was on the 300th or so round of the day. The actual Frame failed see pics below.

Now this press came to me second hand and i have no idea of the actual age of the machine. I had no illusions that it was pooched, and was like oh well. But i contacted dillon anyways, sent them the pictures and explained that i got the machine second hand and asked if i could send it for repair.

There responce was this,,,, Give us your address we are sending you a new Frame TODAY!! They are also sending me a new primer cup as i never had one with mine, and if the bucket moves well,, it cane make amess of my shed!

The gentleman i delt wiht was named Michael Clerc. I have all his personal contact info and has told me to contact him directly with any issues. This is truely above adn beyond and I will never buy any other companies equipment from this day on!!

BUY Dillon tell them I sent you!!! This is no BS, not fake 100 % true and is happening right now.

To top it all off, they said, do not bother sending back the broken frame, because it would cost too much from Canada!!

I had an eight year old Dillon large tumbler stored in my basement which flooded due to a frozen sump pump discharge while I was away for two weeks, destroyed the motor, called Dillon to inquire about a new motor and explained what had happened. They said send it back and the would send a new one, no charge. I did and they did. Can't beat that with a stick!

My Dillon powder check alarm buzzer thingy stopped working. Unfortunately the only thing that isn't warranted for the life of the product is electronics. I still called them up in the hope that perhaps they could offer me some advice or send me a replacement at low cost.

The guy just cut me short, and said he'd have the replacement electronics on the way that same afternoon. He didn't ask me stupid questions like if I checked the battery, or ensured the wire connections were good. He just sent me off another in the mail, no questions asked.

Imagine if companies like Rogers or Bell gave service like that? I'd probably faint and think I'd gone to heaven.

I found ther customer service to be exceptional as well.I too got a second hand square deal, near new.Missing a bunch of the smaller bits.Fast friendly service had me up and running quickly.Also- ordered a conversion kit from a local sports shop-waited 6 months, no kit.Called Dillon- 5 days from Arizona to in my hand. They have already earned their next sale from me.

At one time (early '90s) I had seven Dillons, each dedicated to a caliber;

RL-1050 .45 acp
Rl-1050 .38 super
RL-1050 .223
RL-550B .44 magnum/.44 special/.44 russian/.44-40
RL-550B .45-70/.40-65
Square Deal .38 special
Square Deal 9mm

It was an impressive loading bench, twenty feet long. At the left end was my Ballisti-cast air auto luber-sizer, almost always running (I was a commercial bullet caster), then all the Dillons, on the right end my Lyman Comet C press for odd jobs, and last my Lyman turret press dedicated to .244 Remington.
Dillons warranty is simply the best, always a pleasure to deal with.
