Dillon dealers in ontario

I'm looking at getting an XL650 and would like to find a dealer in Ontario (south western prefferable) or one that offers free shipping on a press. Also need a dealer that actually STOCKS all the stuff to go with the press (caliber change kits, quick change kits, etc.)

Williams Arms and Ellwood Epps both deal Dillon. That said many people buy directly from the Dillon Factory in the USA.
 
I have been searching the CGN forums and suppliers on these forums for quite a while now. I've looked at sponsors and dealers websites, most were poorly made and listed next to nothing or were half decent but the stuff I wanted was out of stock. I really wanted to spend My money in Canada and find a reasonably local dealer so shipping costs would be kept down.

I sent "The Shooting Edge" a message from the contact us section of their website and never heard anything back. Guess they are making too much money to care.

Called "Ellwood Epps" and got a voicemail. If they are too lazy or busy to pick up the phone and talk to me, I'm too lazy or busy to leave a message and wait by the phone for them to call back.

Called Dillon and talked to a very helpful live person on the phone. To make a long story short, $2000.00 worth of reloading equipment is clearing customs today, should be here the beginning of next week.

I dont know what it is about Canadian retailers, but if you want to sell something you need to stock it and all the stuff that goes along with it and you have to pick up the phone when it rings.
 
FedEx arrived today with all my stuff :cool: Fast shipping by Dillon and that was even with a delay clearing customs, I didnt expect this to arrive until after Christmas. Couldn't be happier with the service!

Yep can't agree more. I've tried to give local dealers my business but the stock seems to never be what I want (or it's on the next 3 month order).

There is a fellow out of BC (not sure if site sponsor, thought he was) that seems to carry nearly everything! I've bought quite a lot from him (MG).

If you don't mind me asking, what did it cost "to the door"? I've been burned with UPS/Fed Ex fees and shipping and really hate ordering across the boarder.

xl650 loaded with all the options including case feeder w/3 plates and reloading starter kit. Set up for quick change on 9mm, 44mag, and 500 s&w including die sets was 2091.85 + 144.28 shipping = 2236.13
converted to canadian on my credit card = 2267.05
fedex brokerage fee was 11.50 + HST =279.27
Total to the door was 2546.32
