i spoke with dillon precision on two occasions (once on the phone and once by email) and their warranty and customer service is the best that i have experienced from any company.

i told them over the phone that my spent primer cup bracket broke and the guy said he will send one out the same day. he then asked if there was anything else i needed and i asked if i could get a couple extra locator buttons as backup and that was not a problem at all.

i spoke with another guy via email because i hear an intermittent 'clunk' sound which then overcharges my load by 0.2-0.3gr. he said it could be a broken body collar and/or a problem with the lock link bellcrank and said "new parts are on the way" without me even having to ask.

for any people thinking about buying a progressive press i would highly recommend dillon precision.
two thumbs up!

My experience is similar. They bend over backwards to help and can walk you through most fixes on the phone. Dillon delivers exceptional customer service in todays age.

Definitely the best customer service I have experienced. I bought a used older Dillon 650 and have had fantastic support. There was a couple of times that the replacement part I needed had an updated design. They just sent me a replacement kit with the new part and all parts affected by the new design.

I have had similar dealings with Dillon, they are excellent, I have to say RCBS has had equally good service and warranty in my dealings with them too.

RCBS and Dillon have both been good to me also. With either company you have to deal with the postage time as we are a small market in a foreign land so expect a 10 days to 2 week down time until the part gets to you.

I've dealt with Dillon, RCBS and Lee for warranty issues and they all have come through without any issue. I am sure the other company's are just as good I just either haven't had to contact them or don't use stuff that is prone to breaking. If only some of the actual firearm manufacturer's would operate in the same way life would be grand!

Surprisingly my first experience with certain Dillon products was quite negative. While I love their presses I recently was exposed to their electronic scale and flipper trays. The scale would not hold zero and would not calibrate - broken from the factory. It happens to all manufacturers, no biggie. One surprise was the powder holder/scoop that goes on the scale - rough textured with a narrow crease leading to the pouring lip. Powder just would not flow without granules getting stuck and having to be brushed free, a real PITA.

Also, while the primer flipper trays are heavy duty metal, they would not flip all the primers even after vigorous shaking. In comparison the RCBS plastic trays are wonderful.

All small potatoes 'cause their presses are just amazing and I'm sure their service is great. I've had good experience with RCBS and Lee as well.
