New to reloading here and picked up a Dillon Square Deal B from a friend at the club. Unfortunately he never used it and it was setup for 9mm while I want to use it for .38/.357. So we found all the necessary parts to convert it over but I've got two questions,

First in regards to the decapping assembly/pin etc... is it universal and you simply adjust its length/depth according to the cartridge length ? Or would their be a specific one for both 9mm and .38 etc...

Second, I'm assuming the powder funnel piece is what also bells the cartridge slightly hence it being caliber specific and the so called powder die (the piece actually threaded into the head) is simply used to adjust it and is not caliber specific ?

Any and all input is greatly appreciated!

The decapping pin does not need replacing or adjusting.

The powder drop tube inside the die is what bells the cartridge. It is adjusted by screwing the die up or down. The powder charge is changed by the nut on the horizontal powder bar ) The one with the spring attached that moves back & forth ).

Thank you very much.

For round two, I've got some more questions in regards to the different priming and powder accessories. Does the press/kit come with a complete spare Primer Slide Assembly or just the Cup and Punch etc to switch from small to large ? And with the Powder System, does it only come with 2 Bar Assemblies (1 small, 1 large, or 2 small and 2 large) as the instructions I downloaded states 4 in total if my understand is correct (2 of each?).

Just trying to determine what pieces I still need as I have to sort through bags/boxes to find what I need and I think these are the last pieces that would have been included from the factory.
