dillon square deal b

I only reload pistol 9mm. This Square Deal B has been amazing for me! Set it up and and prepped, I crank about 400 rounds per hour. The only bad thing I had was a busted cast arm roller. I called Dillon and they sent me 2 spares in 2 days. No waiting on hold, no fuss. So that is another good thing!

I've been running a Square Deal for more than 25 years. Great press and the support from Dillon is second to none. Keep in mind that the SD is pistol only, and if you plan on reloading for several calibers, changing over is not as quick as a press using conventional dies. My SD is normally set up for 9mm. I also have a complete tool head for 38/357. An RCBS single stage takes care of my rifles.

..... so to change from 1 caliber to another? you only need a tool head ? or?

When you buy a SD conversion for another caliber e.g. 45 ACP you get the SD dies, shellplate, etc. If you want to keep the settings on your existing caliber e.g. 9mm, you have to purchase an extra toolhead.

I have had a Square Deal for over 25 years. If anything breaks, I get new replacement parts within a matter of days. Dillon really stands behind all their products. I have my SD set up for .38 wadcutters and use my 550 for all my other calibers. I prefer the functionality of my SD over my 550. But if you are looking to shoot anything other than pistol calibers, you might want to consider the 550 or 650.
