I just picked up a basket case Dillon XL650 and am trying to reassemble it and fiqure out what parts are missing etc. My question: is there supposed to be two primer tubes, one for small primers and one for large primers? The primer tube in the machine holds large primers and when I try to cycle small primers they tip sideways. I have a manual but it isn't very clear on this subject.

Thanks

There should be three.
1 Green which is for large
2 Yellow which is small
3. Brass one small and one large
You use the yellow or green to pick up your primers and the brass ones are in side your 650.
As far as I can remember they call the brass the primer magazine.
If you have the wrong brass one installed it will make your primers come out sideways.
Hope this helps if not you can call Dillon and they will help you with your set up.

Unfortunately I did not recieve the pick up tubes or the small primer magazine tube, plus it's missing some other parts. So I will have to get the proper parts.

Thanks

If purchase new you would have one primer set-up with the machine but you also get the inner tube, primer plate for the other one (ie small pistol installed.....large pistol in a package)
