Hi everyone,
I'm new to both the forum and shooting in Canada. I'm not sure if this is the correct section to post in since it's not exactly an optics question, but I'm keen to hear any options on getting a diopter rear sight that could attach to the sight rail on a .22 CZ 452 bolt action rifle that I recently purchased? I've tried googling, but can only find cheap sights for air rifles that don't appear of very high quality and the old sights for Lee Enfields, which wouldn't mount to the weaver scope rail.
I'm very pleased with the rifle, but the factory rear sight is somewhat lacking in finesse and I'd like to add something that would complement the full accuracy potential of the rifle. I'm keen to stick with a diopter sight as I learnt to shoot in the UK with a diopter sighted Martini action rifle and want to stick with something close to this configuration while I still have good enough eyesight to not need a scope.
If anyone has any links to manufacturers, experiences and opinions or even a used example they'd be willing to part with I'd be very keen to hear about it!
Cheers,
Andy
