I'm looking for diopter sights for one of my k31's and am wonder what there is out there. Are there diopter sights that will allow shooting to upwards of 1000 yards? Whats out there, where do i get them, and how much? Do they clamp to the receiver or does my gun need to be drilled and tapped ( i want to avoid that if i can) thanks

Yes, I am trying to get enough interest together.
I do also recommend getting the clamp-on scope mount (<$100.00, mount only) for those interested in the diopters. That way you can tune/torque the rifle with you ammo and scope and then remove the scope mount and get the best possible performance with the diopters. Really nice having that capability to go back and forth with those sighting options.
Up to 1000yds. Not much past that. Depends on individual rifle and and shooter. For MOST rifle/shooter combinations, they have a useful sight-in range with GP11 of 100 to 1000 yds. Includes front sight housing with one 3.0mm aperture and either an Anschütz or Gehmann rear iris. Some shooters were not able to have a dead on hold at 100yds with the 1000yd diopters using ring front sight apertures.
I hope to one day get some test results from Tiriag and Ian Roberston on the sights.
Price is in the $320.00 to $350 range, depend on size of order, exchange rates, customs extortion/and taxes.
